The Death of the Queen

The death of Queen Elizabeth II occurred in the afternoon of September 8, 2022 at Balmoral Castle. The last words she spoke were, "All my possessions for one moment of time." She reached the age of 96 on April 21, 1926, the day she was born”. There are 14 Commonwealth realms under the rule of King Charles III, including the United Kingdom. His mother, Elizabeth II, died on 8 September 2022, making him the monarch. At the age of 73, he is the oldest person to assume the British throne, becoming the longest-serving heir apparent in British history. Queen Elizabeth II, who lived from 1926-2022, was the longest-reigning and oldest monarch in British history.
